Founded in 2021 by nurse practitioner Cecilia Ravas, the company addresses the often overwhelming task of finding suitable clinical placements.
NP students frequently juggle academic responsibilities, employment, and the daunting task of locating providers willing to mentor them. Drawing from her personal challenges in securing a preceptorship, Ravas established MatchNP to streamline this process.
The platform offers a personalized experience, matching students with preceptors aligning with their clinical tracks and needs. “We provide a concierge experience to our students and providers, ensuring a simple process from start to finish,” Ravas explained.
Rapid Growth and Expansion
Since its inception, MatchNP has experienced significant growth. The platform boasts a network of over 5,000 providers across all 50 states, facilitating nationwide placements. From 2023 to 2024, the company reported an annual growth rate exceeding 100%. In 2024, MatchNP received $75,000 in non-dilutive funding from Arch Grants to further its mission.
