FIGS Outfits USA Olympic Healthcare Team, Partners with Ski Legend Lindsey Vonn
When Olympic gold medalist Lindsey Vonn retired from competitive skiing in 2019 due to severe knee injuries, few expected to see her racing again. Yet innovative surgery and her dedicated healthcare team have paved the way for a potential Olympic comeback at Milano Cortina 2026.
“When I retired in 2019, I didn’t think I’d ever race again,” Vonn said. “My Mako partial knee replacement changed everything, and my medical team was there every step of the way, from when I started to casually ski again, and then deciding to come back to ski racing.”
This remarkable journey is now being celebrated through a partnership between Vonn and FIGS, the medical apparel company that’s outfitting Team USA’s medical professionals. Their campaign shines a spotlight not just on Vonn’s determination, but on the healthcare professionals who made her return possible after knee replacement surgery.

The campaign’s tagline—”It takes heart to build bodies that break records”—captures the essence of the nursing and healthcare profession’s impact on athletic achievement. As part of this celebration of healthcare professionals, FIGS has created a limited-edition FIGS x Team USA collection featuring specialty scrubwear, outerwear, knitwear, and accessories in patriotic red, white, and blue. The collection is designed specifically for the demanding environments healthcare professionals navigate daily—long hours and high pressure.
Over 150 medical professionals supporting Team USA at the Milano Cortina Games will receive these specially designed uniforms, with the collection also available to healthcare professionals nationwide.
