LA Dodgers Honor 4 Nurses On The Field

In the heart of Los Angeles, where the passion for sports and a deep appreciation for healthcare professionals converge, an extraordinary event took center stage – the FIRST-ever Dodgers Nurse Night 2023. As the Dodgers took on their rivals, the San Francisco Giants, under the stadium lights, the real stars of the evening were undoubtedly the nurses, who were celebrated for their dedication, resilience, and compassionate service.

The Dodgers’ FIRST Nurse Night was SOLD OUT with over 5,000 nurses in the stands! 

During the Dodgers Nurse Awards pregame ceremony, four nurses were honored on the field. These four nurses were nominated for their dedication to the nursing profession and were voted by the nursing community to throw and catch the first pitch. Join us in congratulating your 2023 Dodgers Nurses!

The worlds of sports and healthcare intersected for a moment, and the spirit of gratitude and admiration shone brighter than ever. Dodgers Nurse Night 2023 was an uplifting occasion that reminds us of the power of unity and the extraordinary impact of those who devote their lives to the care and well-being of others.

The Los Angeles Dodgers, a team deeply rooted in the community, recognize the immense contributions of nurses who teamed up with Nurse.org to present the pregame ceremony. During the pregame ceremony, FOUR nurses were honored on the field. Through a  nomination and voting process, the four nurses were selected! Nurse James, received over 10,000 votes and threw out the first pitch, and the runner-up, Nurse Nalina, received over 9,000 votes and caught the first pitch!
